12-year-old Veprim finds herself thrust into the role of queen, commanding an army of a thousand Synth warriors.
Born on Mercury as the lowest caste, she lost both her parents and was kidnapped before being brought aboard the Gunboat Elisabeth.
Soldiers on the gunboat aided her escape from aliens twice, leading to her fame and royal title. As the old queen died, giving her the title, she was forced into the limelight as the Queen who saved Earth.
Longing for the simple life aboard the Gunboat Elisabeth, she hides aboard the ship with her loyal alien friend Babila by her side. Embarking on a deep space mission to search for signs of alien life on Titan, she finds herself once more in the cross-hairs of destiny.
As the gunboat nears the halfway point between Earth and Saturn, disaster strikes when a massive Hive ship attacks, decimating defense fleets around Earth and Mars.
The larger ship possesses more firepower, rendering even nuclear weapons ineffective against it.
Now faced with a choice, do they inform the Hive that Veprim, the Queen of Earth, is aboard the gunboat Elisabeth, or do they run, hide, and hope the new alien on Titan will aid their escape?
