Guide to Human Parasitology

The parasitology guide covers the main parasitic diseases that affect humans. The book presents the pathology with definitions, forms, biological cycle, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment, epidemiology, control and prevention of 19 parasitic diseases. The book resulted from the efforts of two professors, Lucia Amorin (professor of human parasitology) and Leandro Rozin (professor of epidemiology and public health), in order to optimise learning in nursing, biomedicine, pharmacy and medicine courses.
