Beskrivelse
Loganberries, like raspberries and blackberries, are hybrid berries that fall within the Rosaceae family.
Their ancestry is in the red raspberry (Rubus idaeus) and blackberry (Rubus fruticosus) varieties.
Loganberries have a flavor profile that blends the sweetness of raspberries with the sharpness of blackberries, and they look dark red to purplish-black. In size and shape, the berries are similar to raspberries, but with an extended form.
Jams, jellies, pies, and pastries are just a few of the many culinary uses for these berries. Fresh ones are delicious when they're in season, too. Loganberries are an excellent part of a healthy diet since they are full of vitamins, dietary fiber, and antioxidants.
Loganberries are still grown in some locations and occasionally seen at farmers' markets or specialized grocery stores, even though they may not be cultivated as commonly as other berry kinds.
