Note: The Jokeress series does not have anything to do with characters from Batman --In the second book, The Jokeress: Grey Area, Swann begins to experience and contemplate the new challenges brought on by the tainted injections she received from Lakso. --The extra terrestrial setting of the story is introduced to the readers. --Swann, Louse, and Calista reunite after Calista escapes incarceration. --Calista and Louse abduct Lakso for his role in the Nanorod project, not knowing, at first, what he did to Swann.
