Beskrivelse
Grandmothers are some of the most underestimated family members in the world, yet they capture the hearts of grandchildren everywhere. They teach, passing on wisdom, culture, and life lessons. They comfort, giving grandchildren peace, hope, and love. And they provide relief to children in their times of need.
In this work, the author presents poetry written about grandmothers from many cultures. After researching and imagining from the point of view of grandchildren, the author gives grandmothers a center stage through the artistic representation in poetry. Join us in the author's journey as she imagines the role of the grandmother in different cultures, explores the nuances each culture's rich heritage provides, and offers the perspective of childred as they adore their grandmothers. We only have them for so long, so let us cherish them.
