Our current method of space travel will require an enormous amount of time and effort to explore and colonize celestial bodies relatively close to earth. A unified theory which brings our understanding of relativity and quantum theory together into one complete systems of thought may broaden our perceptions regarding our space-time continnum and may also provide us with an entirely new system of space travel.
