Grammar Essentials was developed to assist students in understanding the complexity of grammar and how it relates to reading and writing. By establishing solid grammatical rules and applications which use those rules, students attain a working knowledge of writing. In addition, the proofreading and contextual understanding of the workbook provides the students with more opportunities to dissect and digest written material from a reader's point of view. For twelve years this workbook has been used in community colleges and universities to bridge the gap between public school education and the colleges.
