Beskrivelse
"Ruhani guides us through first loves, friendships, legacies, and adulthood...with writing that is alive, moving, and human."
- Xiao Yue Shan, Author of then telling be the antidote
"Fizzing with tender energy, this evocative and wise collection displays an extraordinary poetic talent."
- Heidi James, Author of The Sound Mirror
Gradient is Ruhani's documentation of conflicting experiences in today's world: youth and
ageing, friendship and romance, tradition and modernity, exceptionalism and the mundane.
The idea of a gradient is that unexpected colors can bleed into each other, and that life is, in
fact, complete when it contradicts itself. Armed with her unwavering attention and dedication
to understanding, Ruhani debuts an inner universe that can only come from having lived
variously, fully, and from loving a world that is far from black and white.
