Goodbye Shy, Hello Sky is for children of all races, genders, and backgrounds (ages 5 - 10); parents, teachers, counselors, caregivers, mentors, and organizations devoted to nurturing and developing the talents of children. Some of the world's greatest, most courageous people were once shy children. Being shy can be a friend and an enemy. It's a friend when a child wants to feel safe and hide away from a loud, petty and hurtful world. It can be an enemy as that child grows and must face the real world while stepping up to be the great person she or he was born to be. "Goodbye Shy, Hello Sky" is an inspiring and colorful story of a shy little girl named "Cassie" who learns to break through her clouds of shyness to find her own voice, purpose and confidence.
