Being immortal means you live forever, correct? Wrong - for almost all who are cursed with immortality, it means you have ceased to live, and fighting against time is just a means of survival. Some indulge in petty hobbies, others try to fill the void in their soul with power and riches, while others turn to the future, always looking to the future. Sylvian is different. Like all vampires, her mortal past was robbed from her when the mind begins to heal and accept this unnatural rebirth. Instead of wallowing in her misfortune or being consumed with the gratuitous trivialities of having unlimited time, Sylvian wants to know what does it meant to be a vampire, and what does it mean to be her. Sadly, such a personal quest has become the epicenter of a centuries' old yearning of all other vampires, and Sylvian, despite her best efforts, is now the key player of a prophetic muttering promising that one of Golden Silver will be the one vampire forgiven by the world and finally allowed to join it.Sylvian's tale is one that is dependent on schemes, symbolism, and all those immortal and mortal who have transcended beyond the confines of normal time. When one is immortal, they no longer see the future unfold chronologically.
