Beskrivelse
God's Love is a poem that originated during S.A. Collins' time attending a girls' Catholic high school in Jersey City, NJ. She felt a sense of pride in being able to write about God, and the words flowed effortlessly. Excitedly, she shared her creation with friends during religion class. However, the response was mixed, with some friends reacting with jeers-a typical response among teenage girls. Unfortunately, this experience led her to abandon creative writing for nearly thirty years.
Fast forward to a quiet evening, when Collins found herself reciting bedtime prayers with her four-year-old son. Inquisitive as young children often are, he posed the question, "Momma, Who is God?" After providing the most fitting answer to satisfy his curiosity, she retired for the evening. During her reflective moments, memories of the poem resurfaced, along with a conviction that a children's book should be written. And so, the journey began.
This work marks the start of a series dedicated to imparting basic spiritual principles to young children. While rooted in personal beliefs, the series aims to transcend specific religious affiliations, focusing instead on the concept of a Higher Power-be it God, Allah, Yahweh, Elohim, or Jehovah.
