Dr. Edward Stone is the head of a secret lab that provides various scenarios for the end of the world. He shares his lab, but not all of his erratic or chaotic experiments with his partner, Dr. Julia Reigns. Dr. Stone creates the first, as he calls It, Human Artificial Intelligence, with a being he created from the elements of the earth, who he calls Geode. Geode's thirst for more power and knowledge leads It to creating a catastrophic domino effect of events as he thrusts his power into the universe, leading the meteor, G.O.D.'s hand to break in two and slam through the sun, moon, surrounding planets and then crashing on various sides of the earth. Chicago police officer Zeke continues the story, telling it from his point of view from when the worlds collided, and created a whole new world, filled with burned or radiated corpses, Tsunamis, and tectonic plate shifts. He leads his mother and her friend, Josiah, a former cult leader and prepper, to find a haven for them to live their lives. Some others join their group, and some are just too far gone to save. Will Zeke and his family survive the collision of states, the demise of continents, and the nuances of the new universe?
