Goddess in Waiting

Bree Sheldon is a well-known horror author and returning from a book signing event. She pulls over at a rest stop and captures the attention of a truck driver. She didn't think much of it until they both got back onto the highway and he began trying to scare her and force her off the road. She decides to lose him and get off an exit without him seeing where she went. She contacted her brother and let him know where she was in case anything would happen but he was miles away and couldn't get to her in time if she needed him.She met a man at the book signing event; a long-time fan of hers and they exchange social media information. In a desperate need to feel safe after not knowing for sure if she lost the trucker, she asks her fan to come to her when she finds out he lived only minutes away from the motel she was at. Nick comes to her aid and in other ways that she wasn't expecting. They have a night of passion that Bree finds solace in. Is it just a one-night-stand or could this be the start of something amazing?
