Beskrivelse
The world food supply is at a crossroads. Since the advent of genetic engineering, thousands of products containing GMOs have entered the marketplace. The nutritional landscape was further disrupted by a new class of genetically modified foods derived from CRISPR technology that can be used to "edit" genes within plants, animals, humans, and other organisms of the same species. They pose similar threats to human health and the environment but are not labeled.
GMO & CRISPR Gene-Edited Foods Checklist conveniently lists what foods and products are genetically altered, including grains, soy products, vegetables, fruits, sweeteners, beer, vitamins, and enzymes, flavor enhancers, and other hidden ingredients. The Checklist lists selected food companies that don't use GMOs and CRISPR and those that do. It also includes information on non-food genetically modified or edited sources of contamination, including fabrics, detergents, cosmetics, soy ink, and other household items.
A "must have" reference guide for individual, families, schools, health care centers, restaurants, prisons, and any others concerned about the daily health and well-being of their members or clientele.
