In this book, Gerry is playing basketball one day with his friends, when suddenly his neck goes bendy, and he can't straighten it up!.

He goes to the doctor with his Mum. The doctor says he must got to the hospital.

Gerry is feeling a bit anxious about going to the hospital.

He needn't be worried.

At the hospital he meets Nurse Anna, who looks after him and becomes his friend. In this book we also meet Gerry's friends, his mum and dad and his sister Sofie. When he leaves the hospital, his neck is not completely fixed,but he doesn't mind, and he is already looking forward to his next visit.

This book is suitable for children who may need to visit hospital, or who may feel different from other children, or a little anxious about their visit. It's also a good present for the brother or sister at home. It's written as a rhyming story and so is a great book to read aloud.
