»Minor Breach of Contract by the Seller. An Examination of the Facts and Legal Consequences of a Minor Material Defect«: The paper analyses whether and to what extent the buyer can assert warranty rights in the event of only minor material defects in the purchased item. It is shown that insignificant trifles do not give rise to a warranty obligation in the absence of a deviation relevant to the material defect. Furthermore, the effects of minor material defects on the buyer's legal options are analysed, from the initial performance process to the claim for subsequent performance and the subordinate warranty rights.
