A cop known as Duff has the other half of gift; each man has inherited half of the same gift. It's a race to inherit both halves and as rumoured, to live forever. Having friends on the outside, and inside Paul hopes to survive the teachings of Gerard, and the killer. A race to find the other half of the gift, Paul starts to lose friends quickly and when he has hit rock bottom and runs out of friends he meets the illusive other man; the newly inherited.
