Beskrivelse
Colonialism is a historical, a geographical and a contemporary topic. The contributors in this volume bring together these three perspectives. With the notion of 'coloniality', they discuss the relevance of colonial spatial and social power relations to present-day inequalities, which reveal themselves in knowledge production, in public debates, in European urban landscapes, in international politics, and in everyday local struggles. The anthology draws together contributions from geography and urban studies that engage with approaches from Black Studies, Postcolonial Studies, and Decolonial Studies.
