" I have seen the future of British Cooking, not in a vision, but in person, and I have feasted upon his talents. I urge you all to do the same."
Alain De Brentwurst Twat (BT) Food Critic, Sunday Times So started a 15 year love affair between eponymous food critic BT and celebrity Uber chef Gaz Fontaigne. However, when a scathing review from BT ruins Gaz's reputation, he flees London to Australia. Gaz's desire to give Sydney its best restaurant ever is ruined by a potent mix of drugs and ego. When BT resurfaces down under, Gaz realises that revenge is a dish best served warm with some freshly shaved truffle and a sliver of Foie Gras. Gaztronomy is a culinary satire du jour; it not only parodies our obsession with the contemporary food zeitgeist, but it points the finger at chefs who tread the tightrope somewhere between credibility and farce.
