Gardenia Darning Sampler

Darning cross stitch samplers vary in character and decorative elements, and this pattern is inspired by Jane Greenoff's own collection. The Gardenia flower outline can be used as a cross sitch or blackwork pattern or filled with darning patterns as shown in this project. The sampler can only be worked on linen as some of the patterns are worked over one fabric thread.
