Claire Morrow has given up everything to run a struggling horse farm nestled in the Ottawa Valley. Her goal: to qualify for the Canadian Olympic show jumping team aboard Blackjack, her gifted stallion. Her world changes when she hires, against her better judgement, an itinerant farm hand, Jordan Smith. A talented horseman, Smith appears to have no friends and little history - at least nothing he is willing to discuss. He is about to become the biggest threat and greatest ally Claire has ever known. When Jordan disappears, and someone dies trying to burn down her stable, Claire, driven by fear, tries to find Jordan and unravel the reasons for the arson. As the Olympics in the United Kingdom approach, and she searches for answers, other criminal forces are at work to keep her and Blackjack from competing. Against the backdrop of Olympic competition, and in the most improbable of circumstances, Claire finds Jordan again, but will this encounter be as deadly as the last?
