Galactic Storm

Max started out as just another California girl with a pain-in-the-neck older brother, and a hopeless crush that might never bloom into true love. Then came a day at the beach when fate bitch-slapped her with a tidal wave and a space-crystal necklace that's alive. Fallen from space, the stone offers her nearly unlimited power-if she can only control it. She needs to do so, fast, because the mechamorph planet that lost the necklace wants it back. And to make sure that happens, alien inorganic shape-shifting assassins are sent to kill her. In the end, Max risks her irradiated soul, the love of her life, and their future together to keep the Earth in one piece against a weaponized black hole.
