GAIA's DISCIPLES

Earth is a disaster. Humans are trashing the environment. Global warming is rapidly approaching the tipping point. Shawn O'Malley is discharged from the Army and returns home only to find his neighborhood in dire straights. He struggles to decide what he wants to do with the rest of his life. His elderly neighbor asks him to help keep his home and land in shape while he goes to college. Soon, Shawn finds himself working more on restoring the natural wonders of the neighborhood than he does on his college courses. When the neighbor dies, he leaves his property, home, and contents to Shawn. Over time, he continued to work and care for the land, discovering he had an affinity for the Earth and restoration work. He and his ladies soon form a company that becomes deeply involved in environmental restoration, angering some but helping many. They become the instigators of a new world order, creating the Church of Gaia and beginning the restoration and revitalization of the Earth using Gaia's Earth Magic. They can't keep up, and Gaia steps in again, providing more help by returning some World Walkers to their world. She also recruited younger wizards not born on that Earth to accompany them. They accept the challenge and fight to return Earth to a healthier condition, angering and eliminating powerful politicians and businessmen during the restoration.
