Gage's New Friend

Ten-year old Gage was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. He has written this heartfelt book about his struggle and about his hope to one day get a Diabetic Alert Dog to be his best friend and guardian angel. Written by Gage and illustrated by his mother, Kimberly, this book is a fundraiser to help Gage one day get his wish. These life-saving service dogs cost between $20,000-$25,000. Aside from Gage's story, Kimberly has added educational information about a parent dealing with a child's diabetes and has added some wonderful dog treat recipes to make for your furry loved ones.
