Fundamentals of Mobile Communication Systems

This book presents the main concepts and the fundametals of mobile communication systems, and also illustrates the development and the evaluation of celluler systems towards 5G systems. Besides, the book had focused on the arcchitecture, and analysed the functional structure of the LTE, LTE-Advanced as a current generation. Furthermore, in this book, the concepts of celluler systems are explained in sides of base station, switching, operation, RF planning, celluler network coverage, channel assignment stratigies, channel reduction and interface, handoff types and stratigies. Aslo, the book deels deeply with mobile radio propagation and the loss, anntenna and field distance, and propagation mechanisms, truncking, and the approaches to improving the capacity in celluler systems.
