"I feel Mukundan's effort is a spontaneous outburst of deep commitment to the society, especially to the youth folk, now lying dormant in the innermost recesses of his heart. The work distinctly reflects the suppressed grief and discontentment in his mind. The book is a compilation of some essays with high philosophical content. Spread on the essay portions, we come across a wide variety of short stories and events well supporting the doctrines and ample anecdotes from even Christian and Buddhist literatures. By seeing the profuse inclusion of short stories, to be frank, my assessment goes to the extent of saying that Mukundan is addicted to story-telling.
