Living as a black man in America poses many obstacles. Making the choice to do something positive, I chose the life of becoming a career soldier during the most defining moments in American history, when the rules shifted with unexpected end results. This memoir is a full-spectrum story of love, war deployments, stereotypes, racism, failure, and triumph. A soundtrack was produced by the author, and this series will be the first of its kind. From Thrown Stones is a tribute to the American soldier that America has never met, the firsthand perspective of a soldier forced to survive in the streets, and a tactical guide of Dos and Don'ts for young African Americans living in the United States.
