Your suffering is the epitome of a blessing in disguise. Wrapped in darkness and suffering, it removes the ground from beneath your feet and leaves you fearful, fragile and devoid of meaning in life.
The caterpillar is born with everything it needs, internally and externally, to become the butterfly. You are born with everything you need, inside of you and in your outside world, to become the next version of yourself. The caterpillar suffers a death of itself inside the cocoon. This is the same shedding you do when you pass through a dark time of suffering in your soul and reboot to your true self.
Most beings that we adore or worship have gone through dark times in their life. This includes Christ, Buddha, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Oprah, Abraham Lincoln etc. This process is necessary as it re-defines a person, re-makes one character, chips away the darkness to bring out the luster of your Real Self.
