From Pauley With Love was written out of a need to bring comfort and hope to the author's wife and Pauley's mother, Aimee, and Pauley's two brothers, Chase (age 8) and Jay (age 4), as they mourned for Pauley. Pauley is the author's third son, who was lost after an umbilical cord accident just ten days before his due date.
