From Gloom to Bloom

The theme for this collection of homilies has two overriding words: gloom and bloomdivergent human circumstances of life that assume new meanings in the presence of Jesus the Savior. As he stood out to feed the teeming desert crowds and made significant leftovers, he now comes again through his Word and in the person of his minister and celebrant to turn the gloom in the hearts of his people into joy, to fill their emptiness with his rich food, and to guide their wobbling steps with his enlightening wisdom. It is simply faith at work. It is the blooming hope from Gods Word. It is vibrancy from the pulpit to the pew!
