From Broken to Blessed: A Prodigal Life

We don't have to look far to see that despair abounds regardless of our career or residence. But why such despair? Life is messy. Being real is tough. Holding on to the promises of God seems impossible. The wise King Solomon once wrote, "God put eternity in man's hearts," meaning God places a longing for significance and purpose in each one of us so that we seek him and understand our purpose.

Unfortunately, the various empty ways we seek to find and settle eternity in our hearts are what cause peace to elude us and eventually lead us to despair.
