From Breast Cancer to Love

Julie Godley was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was forty-eight. Her memoir takes the reader on an intimate journey with details from the time of her diagnosis to her five-year breast cancer anniversary. She realized after treatment that her breast cancer story was not over at all; it was just the beginning of a very long process of self-discovery and self-love. Her cancer diagnosis was God’s little wake-up call and her greatest life lesson. Julie shares stories from her past and includes information of how she learned to love and heal herself—mind, body, and spirit. Her memoir includes valuable suggestions to help prepare anyone who has been diagnosed with breast  cancer. Her goal is to bring hope and inspiration to others undergoing a similar journey. Julie is now happier and healthier than she was before her diagnosis. She lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, and this is her first book—but she is already thinking about writing another.
