Frogavia! Frogavia! is book two of the lavishly illustrated Kingdom of Frogavia series (book one, Frog Knights, is also available from Trafford Publishing). It depicts a 'slice of life' in the beautiful Frog Kingdom. After years of exile at a small, far-distant pond, King Francis IV is back on the Ancient Throne Of Frogavia, The Royal Seat Of His Illustrious Ancestors. While in exile, King Francis met and married a much younger beauty named Fiona. Now she is Queen Fiona and they have two lovely daughters, Princess Flora and Princess Fay who were both born at the Little Pond where their father was in exile. Then came the Brave Young Frogavians to find Their True King and return him to Frogavia which was in a state of unrest and unhappiness under the rule of The Pretender To The Throne, The Evil Dax Frogditch who with his followers, kept The Frogavian People in a grip of hardship and terror. King Francis dubs each of the young Frogavian rescuers' "Frog Knights" and they charge back to Frogavia with banners flying to oust - Frogditch and his gang forever. The waterlilies on Castle Pond had ceased to bloom under Frogditch's rule. Now, with the return of The True King and His Family, escorted by The Gallant Frog Knights, the Frogavian People rejoice and celebrate and the gorgeous waterlilies burst into an abundance of blossoms once again. With harmony restored, one of The Knights, Sir Robert Ribbet goes to The King and asks for the hand of The King's older daughter, Princess Flora in marriage. For Robert has loved Flora since he first saw her. But, alas, Princess Flora longs for someone back at The Little Pond where she was born... She loves The Flute Player. Concerned for his daughter's happiness, King Francis sends The Knights to bring The Flute Player to Frogavia. A renowned Priest/ Magician marries Princess Flora and The Flute Player in an ancient ceremony of The Old Frog Religion under the golden light of a full moon. Every citizen of Frogavia is invited to the wedding and the celebrations go on for days with dancing on the lilypads and frogsong echoing across Castle Pond. But the only one who is not rejoicing is Sir Robert Ribbet. He sits dejected alone and lost, for Princess Flora was his inspiration. Then he hears familiar voices through the reeds ... His friends Robin Froghood and Littlefrog (both also knighted for their work) are on another mission to 'help the poor and needy and continue the fight of good against evil'... They ask Robert to join them and all three are singing as they leap across the lilypads into a new adventure.
