Frenemies

Kara has been competing with Devin for the Outstanding Student of the Year Award all through high school. He's constantly in her face with barbs and insults, irritating her like an itchy rash. Then, a secret admirer starts leaving notes, pictures, and gifts in her locker. She looks forward to his frequent surprises, because he makes her feel cared about and pretty. Because she has a private balcony off her bedroom that faces a large forest of trees, she starts doing exotic dancing in her lingerie and pretending her secret admirer is watching. At school, she and Devin show up at all their dances without dates and end up dancing with each other. At first, it's warlike, but it becomes more sensual as time passes. Kara is frustrated at the physical attraction she feels for him while they're on the dance floor because she's sure she hates him. At the end of the year her secret admirer reveals his true identity and a big mistake he's made. Now Kara has a choice to make.
