At the dawn of 21st century United States of America was the undisputed hyper power with an unmatched economic and military might. On 11th September 2001 this venerable position was challenged when 19 terrorists wreck havoc from skies. These terrorists hijacked four commercial flights; three of these planes were diverted to strike at twin towers of world trade center in New York and Pentagon in Virginia. Fourth plane crash landed near Pennsylvania when a struggle ensued between passengers and hijackers. Over 2900 people lost their lives in these attacks while economy suffered a loss estimated to be in tens of billions of dollars.
