Free Speech

President Trump has routinely indicated his disdain for the free speech of anyone who disagrees with him. Yet free speech has also come under assault from the left, particularly on college campuses, where critics claim that it has become a weapon of the powerful against women, racial minorities, and LGBTQ communities. These critics ignore the many ways that these groups have deployed free speech in their own struggles for equality and liberation.
