The foundation of any given thing is the basis upon which it stands or is supported. It is thebody or ground upon which something is built or overlaid. Whether natural, physical orspiritual, the foundation of something or someone is vital to their strength, growth, andfurther development. For us christians, we must clearly articulate what it is that constitutesthe foundation upon which we will build, in concert with God, the beautiful, and enduringedifice of our lives and destinies.
