Beskrivelse
To become an industrial designer, architect, or artist, one needs to know the basics. This book focuses on design as a profession. It looks at the ins and outs of form and color, and it describes the historical roots of modernism. Form/Color Anatomy also examines the art of collage making, the art of designing without pen and paper, the place of the ritual, and the anthropological implications of design. It explains the contrasts in color and form, and the basics of form constitution and analysis. Form/Color Anatomy is unique in the sense that it encompasses 20 years of form and color education experience at the world's largest university-based design school: the Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, with over 2,000 registered industrial design students.
