Lonely, disillusioned, antisocial; Mr Wolf describes himself as a wolf removed from the pack. He is an unemployed, discreet, homeless man in the twenty-first century. He is driven to unexpected tribulations when he finds a job as a janitor in a small, quiet and unassuming town in France, populated by seemingly unassuming citizens. He is driven by the threat of a strange blackmailer, and gets bogged down in the quagmire of drug trafficking and tossed into a situation that put a threat to his life.
