Fonyuy & Kernyuy

The book is a narration (by an adult Fonyuy)of the fascinating and striking moments of his childhood and adolescence along with that of his twin brother Kernyuy. They were both raised in the intrinsic worth of customs and practices which characterized their home of birth Melim. The book has much to say about the importance of culture and tradition to a people. It conforms itself to societal realities, while giving a lecture on the ethics and morals of each and every one, irrespective of their age and social ranking. Dealing with matters of common sense and good manners,it upholds virtues such as love, respect, understanding, gratefulness, discourse, tolerance, togetherness, forgiveness, humility, patience, and esteem for tradition, humans and nature. All that of course, viewed with the eyes of the African tradition.
