This is the fourth book in the Following Stefano series. However, Anthony has a surprise for his friends when he invites them to dine with him in the most beautiful kitchen in Rome! The format of the story is a travelogue combing descriptions of interesting historic sites with delicious culinary treats. The story is divided into sixteen short chapters describing the main historical sites of Northern Italy. Each chapter has a colorful illustration which matches the story. Chef Stefano also gives his insight into the local Italian foods and recipes. The grammar and sentence structure is simple, yet challenging enough to act as an effective tool at the beginner or intermediate level of learning. Many of the main verb tenses, i.e., the present, past, future, imperative, conditional and present gerund, etc. are covered. Use of adjectives, adverbs, articles, prepositions. pronouns, and the superlative are also present. It is geared for a student of Italian grammar at the B1 or B2 comprehension level for the CILS or CELI exams.
