Beskrivelse
Federalism is a contested political concept. This volume addresses the growing scepticism and asks whether federalism as a guiding principle of state organization is not the problem rather than the solution for many political issues. The authors reflect the variety of these issues in different regions of the world. They examine the latest developments and public debates in Europe, e.g. in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, and also in Venezuela and China.
