Beskrivelse
These are stressful times. There is a host of research that suggests the reason stuttering increases when under stress is that when emotions are too intense for the limbic system, it enlists the basal ganglia and cerebellum. This impacts fluency as the motor-planning and sensory feedback systems are compromised. There are also studies that link this to the production of lymphocytes. This book helps address the stress caused by fear, anger, and desire by providing tools to process (instead of seeking to remove) these emotions.
