This title traces the development of Flemish policy within the EU development strategies created over the last decade. It examines the 'Flanders in Action' programme established in 2006 designed to establish Flanders as the gateway to Europe, and how this fits in with the Lisbon Strategy and EU 2020, beginning in 2011.
