The world is changing! This joke sums up the great upheavals that have marked the end of the century that has just ended and the beginning of the new one. Whether we are talking about the West, Africa or the East, violence has become one of the main facts of human life. Too many material goods have been destroyed by wars and attacks. Too many lives have been massacred by men, without any understandable reason. As if mankind was playing at fear, death has become almost a game that some justify by religious faith, others by the need to right a wrong, all of which is known today under the now dreaded term of "international terrorism". This means that the world is facing a big nebula whose evolution in time and space, however, is invariable by essence. It is simply a question of making the greatest number of victims and in the most spectacular way possible. And it is the over-mediatization that follows the weeks of debates after each large-scale terrorist action, which feeds the phenomenon at the same time.
