Fireworks Wars

Joseph Roman and his family are happily living in the house of their dreams until the neighborhood changes and they feel excluded and mistreated. World events and changes in the country seemingly parallel and drive the new atmosphere of the neighborhood. Everything Joe tries to remedy the situation backfires until, out of anger and desperation, he declares war and strives to teach them all a lesson the next Fourth of July. Follow along as Joseph's plan unfolds, at first successful but things soon go awry bringing a new challenge for the Romans to overcome. Joeseph's story is introspective, often humorous and at the same time examines larger issues polarizing the country.
