Hearing the crackle and pop of the wood. Sandrell, a cricket, loved to stare into campfires at night. One night while looking into a special campfire, he saw 'something' in the fire. Risking his life, he had to find out what it was. Fires and a Friend is the tale of how two characters meet and become best friends all because of the love of a warm, beautiful fire, and hearts full of courage.
