Finding Hope

Samantha, an 18-year old girl, with a broken past yet a seemingly bright future undergoes tragic circumstances during the Vietnam War after her beau is drafted. She loses all hope and is close to giving up on life itself when she meets Hope, a 12-year old girl with a terminal illness. Through their friendship, many life lessons are taught and it is through finding Hope, that Samantha begins to find her hope again along with the understanding that maybe there is a deeper meaning behind all of her hurt than she could ever fathom. An uplifting and inspiring story for anyone who has ever faced tragedy and wondered "why?"
