Beskrivelse
This is a new edition with corrected texts and developed material based on the reader's feedback. Please consider that the Discourses of Rumi, known as Fihe Ma Fih, is a really difficult text to understand and the English translation cannot transfer the true meaning. So, it is highly recommended to pick this book if only you have enough knowledge of the Persian language at an advanced level.
I tried to provide the most relevant and revealing translation here, this is not a word-to-word translation! This book is a selection of 21 teachings from the Fihe Ma Fihi (Discourses of Rumi). You may read the original text with the help of phonetical signs, then read the modern Farsi explanation of it. Later there is the English translation.
Fihe Ma Fihi (Discourses of Rumi) provides a record of seventy-one talks and lectures given by Rumi on various occasions to his disciples. This book is one of the first Persian prose books after the so-called Persian literature revolution. Moreover, the book has become an introduction to the Masnavi. Also, many concepts of Sufism are described in this book in simple terms.
