Fighting the Good Fight

In a family of three boys, the youngest, a high school senior, began showing signs of alcoholism. They escalated, and he began to disintegrate scholastically and socially. His parents' medical and psychiatric training didn't make identifying or managing the problem any easier. After a series of failures, their tireless efforts brought their son to recognize his alcoholism and begin the struggle to reclaim his life. Intended to help and encourage young recovering alcoholics, their families, and the medical/social system that serves them, this book points the way to the possibility of happy endings for other sufferers of this destructive epidemic of our times.
